✨Features

What IEKURA can do

📸 Photo-first registration

Snap → tap a storage place → set quantity. Naming can wait. Registering 30 items takes minutes, not an afternoon.

🧾 Receipt scanning (on-device OCR)

Photograph a shopping receipt and items line up automatically. OCR runs inside your phone — the image never leaves your device.

📷 Barcode + community dictionary

Scan a barcode and the name fills in — powered by Open Food Facts and our own community dictionary of 47,000+ products that grows with every user.

📈 Collection value tracking

Record current market value per item and watch your collection's total — with one-tap links to sold prices on Japanese marketplaces and eBay.

📍 QR shelf labels & shopping list

Print a QR label for each shelf — scan it and see exactly what lives there. Running low? A shopping list writes itself.

🖼️ Share your "collection index"

Generate a beautiful 1080×1350 card of your collection — photos, item count, total value — ready for X and Instagram.

💛Why IEKURA

Built differently, on purpose

Most inventory tools are made for warehouses. IEKURA is made for the things you love.

♾️ No item caps

Register 10 things or 10,000 — the free beta has no item limit and no locked features.

🎁 One app for everything

Food, figures, trading cards, tools, emergency supplies — one app, no per-category plans.

🔒 Privacy by design

Your inventory and photos live on your device, not on our servers. No account, no tracking of what you own.

🌱 It grows with its users

Every barcode a user teaches makes the shared dictionary smarter for everyone — 47,000+ products and counting.

🌍Worldwide

Built to be used anywhere in the world

IEKURA now speaks 5 languages and reads the barcodes sold in your country.

🌐

UI in 5 languages

Japanese, English, Korean, Chinese and Spanish. The app follows your phone's language automatically — switch any time with the 🌐 button.

📊

Global barcodes

Reads EAN-13 / EAN-8 / UPC — the codes used worldwide. Product names are looked up in the international Open Food Facts / Open Product Facts databases plus a community dictionary grown by IEKURA users.

📴

Works offline

Registering, searching and stocktaking work with no signal. Only name lookups need the internet.

🔒

Your data stays on your phone

No account, no sign-up. Photos and records live only on your device — nothing is uploaded unless you choose cloud sync.

💸

Free

All core features are free. Optional IEKURA Plus adds automatic cloud backup (US$3.99/mo).

🌏

Made in Japan, by a real shop

Built by SUNSUN SRM, a small company in Okayama that also runs a second-hand goods business — so the inventory logic comes from daily practice.

🚀How it works

Three steps — that's the whole app

1

Hold a barcode up to the camera

The name and photo fill in by themselves. Same product again = +1.

2

No barcode? Take a photo

Snap one picture. Add the name later if you like.

3

Tap − when you use one, + when you buy more

Set a minimum and ⚠️ warns you; set an expiry and ⏰ reminds you.

❓FAQ

Questions from overseas users

QDoes it work outside Japan?
Yes. The scanner reads EAN/UPC barcodes used worldwide, and product names come from international databases. The interface is available in English, Korean, Chinese and Spanish as well as Japanese.
QDo I need an account?
No. Open the page and start. Your data is stored only in your browser on your device.
QIs it really free?
Yes — all core features are free. IEKURA Plus (automatic cloud backup and multi-device sync) is an optional paid plan.
QCan I use it on a computer?
Yes, but camera scanning works best on a smartphone. On a PC you can type barcode digits, paste receipts or import CSV.
QWhat if I change phones?
Save a backup file from "Data Guardian" and restore it on the new phone, or use IEKURA Plus for automatic cloud sync.
QWhich languages does product lookup support?
Names come back in the language stored in the public database — often the local language of the product's country. You can edit any name.

🌏 A note for international friends

The app interface is currently Japanese only — an English edition is part of our world roadmap. The app itself runs in any modern browser, barcode lookup covers worldwide EAN codes, and your data never leaves your device. If you'd like to hear when the English edition arrives, drop us an email.
