FAQ

How do I know my nail sizes?

Three easy ways: (1) Measure the width of each nail in millimetres with a soft tape or a strip of paper and a ruler. (2) Send a clear photo of your hands flat on a table next to a coin or a ruler. (3) If you already own press-ons that fit, tell us their size numbers. We confirm the sizes with you before making anything.

How much does it cost?

From ¥3,000 per 10-piece set (tax included), plus shipping. We send a written quote first — design, size, shipping and total — and you pay only after you agree.

How do I pay?

By card through a secure Stripe payment link (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay). Prices are charged in Japanese yen; your bank converts at its own rate.

How long does it take?

Each set is handmade to order by one nail artist. We tell you the production time in the quote, and EMS normally takes a few days to about a week depending on the destination (customs may add time).

Will I pay customs duty or import tax?

Possibly. Import taxes and customs fees, if any, are charged by your country and paid by the recipient. They are not included in our price.

Can I reuse the nails?

Yes. Press-on nails can be removed and reapplied with fresh adhesive tabs or glue. We include simple instructions in English.

Can I order a design from your gallery?

Yes. Tell us the photo number (for example "No. 9") from the Japanese gallery, or send your own reference images. We recreate the mood for your nail shape and size rather than copying another artist's work exactly.

Is this a real salon?

Yes. Nail&Eyelash Hi-Ka is a small two-chair private salon opening on 6 January 2027 in Fukuoka (Takamiya), Japan, run by a licensed nail artist (Japan Nailist Association 1st grade, licensed hairdresser). Every photo on this site is real client work.
